Xara Computers achieves Legal Eye Quality Standard

Legal Eye, a subsidiary of ULS Technology, is very pleased to announce that London IT services provider Xara Computers,  has achieved the Legal Eye Quality Standard (LEQS).

The Legal Eye Quality Standard is recognised to be the first assessment scheme to address the rules and regulations which are over and above the traditional quality standards.

Muz Kapasi, co-owner of Xara Computers, comments: “Xara Computers are delighted to have achieved the Legal Eye Quality Standard. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our whole team that our compliance meets the exacting standards needed to achieve this recognition.

“As a long established IT services provider who delivers modern, flexible and highly secure IT solutions to law firms, as you can imagine, risk management and compliance are at the heart of what we do.  Law firms entrust us to manage their confidential client data and cyber security, which is why it is critical to us to go over and above the normal standards.  Achieving the exacting standards required by LEQS is part of that.

“Our flagship product, the XC360 hosted desktop for law firms, has been developed to allow solicitors, barristers and legal services firms to benefit from all that modern cloud-based technology has to offer, but housed within a secure, UK-based, ISO27001-certified private cloud environment. As such, XC360 for Law Firms has been designed to meet the stringent regulatory requirements set out by the law society and SRA. Now, we are thrilled to have taken things a level further with our LEQS accreditation.”

Paul Saunders, MD of Legal Eye congratulated Xara Computers by saying: “We are proud to award Xara Computers with The Legal Eye Quality Standard.  We found Xara Computers to be extremely proactive about their Best Practice and Risk Management Procedures which can provide reassurance to the law firms that work with them.”
