Richard is the Managing Director of Move Reports UK Ltd and has been in the property search industry for over 2 decades proving searches and property data reports to conveyancers, estate agents and property professionals.

He was one of the pioneers of the envolvement of ‘Personal’ local search into becoming a ‘Regulated’ lender approved local search, which is now the conveyancers preferred choice.

He sat on the government working group compiling legislation for the now defunct Home Information Packs (HIPS) and today is both an Executive member and Board Director of CoPSO (The Council of Property Search Organisations) ‘the Search Code’ with oversight of the search industry regulator PCCB (Property Codes and Compliance Board).

This enables Richard to participate on many Industry, Government panels and working groups with the remit to speed up the conveyancing process in the digital era.

David Keighley was admitted as a solicitor in 1982. Until his retirement from full time practice in September 2016, he regularly presents at property law conferences, seminars, webinars & training courses, the feedback received from delegates attending his lectures & courses has been exceptional.

He is a contributing author for the Law Society Conveyancing Handbook, provides modules for the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), is the deputy editor of newsletter issued monthly by Propertylawuk.net . He has also acted as a tutor for CILEX Law School and has written for publications including the Law Society’s Property in Practice Magazine and the Solicitors Journal.
