Martello appoints Search Expert of 20 years, Matt Joy

Martello has announced they have engaged the services of Matt Joy as a Consultant into their Sales and Marketing Team.
Matt brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the property industry. Prior to co-founding CDS, Matt joined the property industry as an Estate Agent. He later transitioned to a Sales and Marketing role in a multi-branch law firm. This experience provided him with valuable insights into the significance of ‘Searches’ and their impact on property transactions.
In 2006, Matt ventured into the searches market, ahead of the introduction of Home Information Packs (HIPs). His most notable achievement came in 2010 when he co-founded Conveyancing Data Services Ltd (CDS), successfully establishing it as the biggest independent supplier of Regulated Searches in England and Wales. Matt’s journey with CDS continued until its acquisition by TM Group (UK) Ltd between 2018 and 2022.
Matt’s philosophy around client favoured innovation aligns perfectly with Martello’s mission. He believes in providing clients with comprehensive options, allowing them to make informed decisions that best suit their firm’s needs. Henry Crosby PhD, Founder and CEO of Martello, expressed his excitement about Matt’s appointment, stating:
“Matt’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the conveyancing process make him an invaluable addition to our team. His commitment to client-focused services aligns perfectly with Martello’s values. We are confident that his expertise will greatly contribute to our continued growth and success in serving conveyancing professionals.”
When asked about his thoughts on Martello, Matt Joy said:
“The simplicity of the Martello range of products is exactly what is needed and is incredibly refreshing, the choice available in the market these days is quite confusing and so having a nice simple, but highly effective and compliant, product range is exactly what the doctor (or should I say ‘Property Lawyer’) ordered!”
