Conveyancers at Convey Law have raised over £40,000 for Alzheimer’s Research UK thanks to the firm’s Conveyancing Foundation Charity Lotto initiative.
A total of £1.4 million has been raised for charities and good causes across to the UK by the partnership between the Conveyancing Foundation and Convey Law.
The concept sees clients of Convey Law pay £10 for an opportunity to win the monthly £500 prize draw, in an initiative which enjoys an 80% take-up.
Accoring to Convey Law, an excess of £80,000 is raised annually for charitable causes.
Convey Law MD and Conveyancing Foundation co-chair Janine Wellington said: “The Charity Lotto is an amazing concept that has allowed us to help so many fantastic charities over the years and I would encourage other legal practices to adopt this simple to implement and highly effective charity fundraising concept.”
