The Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry backed startup initiative Geovation has announced the 20th cohort for its accelerator programme, which is designed to support entrepreneurs bringing property technology solutions to market.
Since it was established 15 years ago, Geovation has supported over 150 startups with a collective value of £300 million, 75% of which came through the accelerator programme.
The property technology aspect of the network is backed by HMLR, with geo technology backed by Ordnance Survey.
Lynne Nicholson, deputy director for data at HMLR, said of the latest cohort:
“We’re thrilled to welcome the latest Geovation Prop Tech cohort, consisting of innovators who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with location and property data. At HM Land Registry, we’re proud to support bold ideas that have the potential to shape the future of the property market and benefit the wider UK economy. We look forward to seeing their visions come to life.”
The latest cohort comprises six geo technology and property technology startups, ‘each tackling unique challenges through software solutions and technology to address environmental issues, streamline property transactions, and improve building management’.
The property startups are:
