My Home Move Wins At The British Legal Technology Awards 2018

My Home Move, the UK’s leading provider of mover conveyancing services, has won the ‘Most Innovative Firm of the Year’ at this year’s British Legal Technology Awards.

The ceremony, which was held on Thursday 1st November 2018, at the Plaisterers’ Hall in London, acknowledged and rewarded excellence in Legal Technology and IT Security within the UK and European Legal Sectors.

Speaking of the win, Doug Crawford, CEO of My Home Move, said, “We have always invested heavily in creating new technology to truly revolutionise the customer experience of conveyancing. This year, we launched our new Introducer eWay portal, which is already having a profound impact on our working relationships with introducers.

“When we launched the portal, we wanted to be able to give our partners the technology that would ensure that they feel in control of their experience and informed about case progress. In addition, we wanted Introducer eWay to bring us closer to our partners, creating better industry collaboration to the benefit of the client.”

Introducer eWay accompanies My Home Move’s client portal, eWay, which gives clients complete control of their conveyancing experience. Clients can see the progress of their case, upload documents, make secure payments and have access to the case action log, which details everything that has been done by all parties to move the case forward.

Doug continued, “Although legal services are still predominantly traditional, paper-based services, we have been at the forefront of technology innovation in conveyancing. With new technologies being developed every year, demand is ever-changing and clients expect professional services to match the online experience they receive in other sectors. With technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, there are many opportunities to be seized by the conveyancing sector and we will continue to explore new ways of delivering our award-winning service.

“I would like to thank our teams at My Home Move who have worked tirelessly to develop both the eWay and Introducer eWay portals. This is the second award we have won for this particular project and our sixth overall for the year, and this wouldn’t be possible without their hard work and commitment to improving the customer experience of conveyancing.”

Others shortlisted in the categories included Browne Jacobson and MW Solicitors.
