Landlords in London have from 15 July 2027 to 14 October 2027 to register.
Landlords of properties in the East of England, East Midlands, South East, Yorkshire and Humberside, North West, North East, and South West will be able to register for a staggered three month period next year.
It’s the legal responsibility of all landlords to register each of their properties and make a payment of £65 per property during the registration periods.
From winter 2027, a property and its landlord must be registered on the service before a court can issue a possession order, this is known as the possession restriction.
