Legal Eye sponsors at this year’s Conveyancing Association Conference

2024 has just begun and the Conveyancing Industry continues to tackle the challenges of the Anti-Money Laundering, digital onboarding and upfront information.

Next month, the team from Legal Eye will join industry leaders to discuss and explore where we are now and how we can get to a digital end- to-end conveyance.

Being held at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate in the heart of the city centre the conference will see a gathering of key speakers from all areas of the conveyancing industry. The conference will allow for peers and colleagues to share ideas and take stock at how to make the process of conveyance safe, secure and smooth for all.

As sponsors, Legal Eye have the pleasure of their MD Paul Saunders being part of the discussion panel for Source of Funds and Digital Signatures.

Paul was appointed Managing Director of Legal Eye Ltd in 2016 after 28 years as a solicitor in the legal profession. He is also the Managing Director of Amity Law along with being a member of the Management Team at Smoove plc (Legal Eye’s parent company). During his time in practice Paul has been at Board level in several firms including roles as CEO and COLP for five years at a large Midlands law firm and as Head of Lender Services and Residential at Shakespeare Martineau.

Panel discussion

Covid, although almost 4 years ago, has left a legacy all its own having had an entire working force across the world adopt remote working. This has meant there has been an acceleration in the way in which the general public access all services, not just legal ones.

But, where are we now? How do we meet both regulatory and client expectations?  Along with the rest of the panel, Paul will be discussing Source of Funds and Digital Signatures, how these elements play their part in both AML and speeding up the process for all and how we make the move from manual to digital.

At this year’s annual conference, the panel and attendees will seek to take stock of all of this and more. You can see the agenda here . Register and book your place here.
