Legal Eye launch marketing workshops to add to package of law firm support

Legal Eye, a leading provider of best practice, risk management and customer relationship management services to the legal service market, has today launched a new range of marketing services for law firms.
Building on their experience in guiding law firms through compliance and accreditation programmes, the workshops look beyond governance to focus on the commercial growth of the business itself.
Working in conjunction with Clear Edge Communications, a consultancy established by seasoned legal services marketer, David Kempster, the workshops provide a structured range of support in key areas:
  • Developing the marketing strategy
  • Effective CRM & communications
  • Social media made simple
  • Law firm marketing “out of the box” (Combination of the above)
The sessions are designed to help partners, practice and marketing managers devise effective marketing strategies and tactical plans to unlock customer value.
Says Jaunita Gobby, Director — Legal Eye: “Legal practices face unprecedented change in more liberalized and challenging market conditions.  How the firm is positioned and communicating with its market is crucial to establishing both a defensive and proactive approach to commercial growth.
We see many firms who have built solid reputations for quality but could reach further beyond their current horizons and understand the commercial potential of their local and regional markets — before others with deeper pockets do it for them.”
Managing partners and their executives can select the level of support they believe is most appropriate to their needs.  At the highest level, interactive whiteboard sessions review and rebuild the commercial strategy to position the brand, messaging and engagement more effectively with current and potential clients, its business channels and partners.
At the tactical level, sessions focus on client engagement and communications — devising effective plans and executing them cost effectively with finite resources. The workshops also explore the increasingly important role of social media in cementing professional reputations, networks and market messages.
“Sadly, the role of marketing in a law firm can be a forgotten or neglected art “says David Kempster, Managing Director of Clear Edge Communications. “It’s often left to the practice manager or partners to handle at the expense of fee earning or essential administration support and without the core skills or a cohesive strategic plan to work from.  This programme equips managers and teams with swift, effective tools to grow their market footprint at a time of rapidly changing competition and access to legal services.”
As well as bespoke in-house sessions, Legal Eye already provides a range of CPD seminar modules in conjunction with their partners, which can now include essential marketing guidance for law firms.
Continued Jaunita: “We are delighted to be working with David to establish our law firm marketing services package. We believe that high street practices can strike the right balance of risk management compliance and effective targeted commercial growth strategies. Indeed, a quality operation will ensure focus in both areas to build and safeguard their futures.”
