HMLR online workshop aims to reduce common mistakes in new build applications

HMLR is hosting a 90-minute online workshop on 8 July to help property professionals avoid common mistakes in new build applications.

The interactive workshop, which will be held on Microsoft Teams, ‘is ideal for professionals who regularly lodge applications with HMLR’, the organisation said. The statement continued:

“With new builds set to rocket, you’ve been asking us for help with applications. So, we’ve carefully crafted a brand-new, free workshop to help you fill in the cracks and ensure a perfect finish.

“Four months in the making, we’ve worked with customers to create this much-anticipated HM Land Registry first, based on feedback from commercial lawyers, major house builders and attendees of our highly popular application support workshops.”

The session will cover requisitions and how to avoid them, the top five areas where requisitions happen in new build applications – including restrictions, plan issues, discounts and incentives – and a live question and answer session with expert caseworkers. Head of practice David Linn will also join the workshop.

Places are limited and registration is essential: register here.

Further training and support resources are available on the HMLR training hub.
