Landmark webinars designed to help commercial conveyancers simplify their search requirements

Landmark Information, the environment, land and property data specialists, has announced a new series of CPD-webinars that are designed to help legal conveyancers in simplifying their search requirements for commercial transactions.

The first webinar in the planned series will take place on Wednesday 19th July at 1pm and is a one-hour CPD accredited session, which provides highly practical guidance geared towards understanding the different commercial conveyancing reports that are available.

Led by Landmark’s Chris Hatch, Business Development Manager, and Phil Hill, Account Manager, the webinar will consider the ‘which, when and how’ of selecting the right reports for various transactions to ensure conveyancers are able to manage risk as part of the due diligence and client care processes. Guidance will also be provided on how best to deal with any issues that may be revealed within the subsequent reports.

Programme content:

• Why we do searches – Law Society compliance, avoiding traps and ‘nasty surprises’

• Breakdown the content of the reports – what data & information is included within environmental, flood and other risk reports?

• Matching the right reports for the right transaction

• Simplifying your search pack: Four reports in one

Rob Phillipson, Sales and Product Director at Landmark Information said: “Our CPD webinars are designed to provide practical, hands-on guidance and advice to conveyancers relating to simplifying their search process.  We will be providing highly practical advice relating to the compliance rules, what reports are out there and how best to match the right report for each and every transaction. For these webinars, we will be focusing on commercial transactions, however, more webinars focusing on other areas will be announced in due course.”
