A home moving app which aims to automate property compliance and simplify home moving has announced it will rebrand as part of a ‘significant evolution’ in its mission.
MoveGenius will rebrand to Snappily, a name they say ‘reflects our vision of making the home moving process faster, simpler, and more efficient, encapsulating the essence of our services—quick, efficient, and user-friendly solutions for all compliance needs.’
MoveGenius officially launched in February 2023 having secured £350,000 in pre-seed funding in 2022. The platform works with estate agents to enable them to onboard home movers digitally, capturing up-front and material information at the outset of the transaction and shares it with all users for transparency and compliance. Users can also upload, review, and sign documents via the platform which can then be shared between relevant parties.
Commenting on the rebrand, Snappily CEO Hannah Nicholson explains the decision ‘stems from our desire to better empower consumers in preparing their homes for sale and our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction’
“Our rebrand to Snappily is an exciting milestone in our company’s journey. It represents our ongoing commitment to innovation and our focus on making the home move process as smooth as possible for our clients. As the compliance landscape evolves, Snappily embodies our mission to streamline the document completion process, reducing stress and complexity. We believe this new identity will resonate well with our clients and reinforce our dedication to quick and efficient service.”
The platform claims to reduce fall throughs by as much as 50% and says by using the tools available, the time to exchange could be cut by up to 40%. Alongside the collation of material information, Snappily users initiate searches at the point of listing, with the price covered by the buyer. Sellers are covered by a home seller protection warranty for fees.
Nicholson appeared on the Today’s Conveyancer podcast in 2022 to discuss the launch of MoveGenius, her background and “collaboration between tech solutions and a change in industry mindset.”
