Yesterday, SearchFlow completed their very first Local Land Charges (LLC1) search with HM Land Registry (HMLR), following the digitisation of Warwick District Council’s LLC1 data. The order was processed in just a matter of seconds through the NLIS hub and marks a step-change in the way Local Land Charges search data is accessed and processed.
From yesterday, Warwick District Council’s LLC has been digitised by HM Land Registry, meaning conveyancers can receive the result of the LLC1 for this council momentarily rather than in days. Other English Local Authorities will follow suit in due course, including Liverpool, Blackpool, Norwich, Peterborough and Lambeth.
Stephen McCluskey, Operations Director for SearchFlow said yesterday: “The digitisation of Warwick District Council’s Local Land Charges data marks the start of a major milestone in our industry and we are delighted to have completed our very first LLC1 search this morning. This aims to improve the speed of delivery and we are proud to support our clients in seamlessly accessing this data, without them having to change any of their working practices.”
As part of The National Land Information Service (NLIS), which is a Government approved and regulated electronic land and property searches portal, SearchFlow will continue to connect electronically with every Local Authority via the NLIS Hub meaning its customers continue to receive a seamless service.
Nick Dyoss, Director of NLIS added: “Today is a milestone day for the property search market and marks the move to a more digitised, electronic process for all. For SearchFlow, we would like to congratulate the team for processing their very first digitised LLC1 search order for Warwick District Council data.”
NLIS connects users directly to land and property information held by Local Authorities, central Government and other organisations that provide official sources of land and property data. It offers the highest standards of electronic property search accessibility available on the market today. Regulated by Land Data, it is the safest, most secure data hub in the land and property search information market.
With more than one million conveyancing searches run every year for over 2,500 legal clients across England and Wales, SearchFlow is regarded as one of the leading providers of comprehensive searches, surveys, identity checks and conveyancing insurance solutions.
