New tech partnership gives conveyancers full coverage of UK planning data

A new partnership between environmental search platform Martello and AI tech specialists Serac Group will give users access to planning data from all local authorities in the UK, including those typically difficult to access.

The partnership will incorporate Serac’s IBex market data, which includes full coverage of UK planning data and ‘an extensive historical dataset’, into Martello’s environmental reporting software.

The result will be reports ‘built on the most comprehensive planning application data available,’ according to Serac. ‘Whether you’re tracking activity in a rural village or a bustling London borough, our API ensures you’re never blind to planning changes,’ the company adds.

Dr Henry Crosby is CEO at Martello. He said of the partnership:

“Clarity is non-negotiable for conveyancers. If there’s missing data, something’s already gone wrong. The addition of IBex’s data into our reports guarantees homebuyers the deepest assurance and conveyancers the most flawless approach.”

Brandon Johnson, CEO at Serac Group, added:

“Our IBex API was built to deliver data accuracy at speed and Martello’s platform is the perfect environment to showcase that. It’s a natural fit, and we’re looking forward to developing further the datasets that Martello are offering to their clients.”

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a smarter, faster, and more connected property data ecosystem, the companies added.
