A monthly forum to address the challenges presented by the Building Safety Act has been launched to help conveyancers understand the implications of the legislation, and navigate their way around its intricacies.
Conveyancing trainer and author Ian Quayle of IQ Legal Training will lead the interactive forum which encourages contributors to ask questions and seek professional advice on the topic. The event is being sponsored by search provider Move Reports UK. During the sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Share best practices and learn from their peers.
- Discuss recent case law and its impact.
- Exchange ideas on how to navigate the challenges posed by the Act.
- Address specific concerns and gain insights from industry experts.
Ian is considered as one of the UK’s most prominent experts on the BSA 2022 having presented many online and in-person lectures on the subject. His book “Building Safety Act 2022 – A Guide for Property Lawyers”, written in association with Andrew Butler KC, is considered a ‘must’ for all property professionals taking on work in this area of conveyancing.
“Ever since its introduction the subject of the BSA 2022 remains the single most raised subject at all our online or in person events. It is for this reason that we have secured the services of Ian exclusively to help ease the pain and uncertainty when working with affected buildings and endorses our CPD commitment to our clients ”
says Richard Bray, Managing Director of Move Reports.
The first of the forums will take place on Monday 23rd September 2022 at 12:30 pm. Further information and registration can be found here.
Concluding, Richard adds,
“Move Reports UK offer a unique partnership way of working with conveyancers whereby clients refer to us as their “Search Department”, rather than their Search provider. With a combined 100-year experience amongst the senior management, all of whom still play an active role in the day to day running of the business and the fact that we are directors and Executive Members of CoPSO the Search industry’s governing body, puts us in a unique position to serve our clients”.
