LMS hosts first roundtable series aimed at further supporting law firms within the sector

LMS, the leading provider of conveyancing services, has further strengthened its position as a true driver of change and collaboration in the sector by hosting the first in a series of roundtable events. These sessions provide those in attendance with an opportunity to discuss and identify solutions to some of the key pain points stakeholders are currently experiencing, whether this be through LMS products and services or collaborative opportunities.

It’s clear that the sector is on a mission to drive change, ensuring positive impacts on the customer experience, but this has not always been an easy task. As a result of more conventional, manual processes and the increases in customer expectation, the demand for this change is increasing at a rate quicker than the change itself. The provision and development of technology by third-parties and the drive from providers such as LMS to ensure that equal access to services that reduce risk and create efficiency as standard practice is absolutely essential to the growth of the industry. The digitisation of each part of the process has facilitated giant leaps towards a more seamless and secure journey for all, but we can’t stop there.

LMS, through its series of roundtables, is looking to maintain the momentum and support key stakeholders in their quest for a journey that meets the expectation of all within the process.

As such, the discussion in the first session, which was held on 21st March, focused on some of the current issues facing lenders and law firms around communication, transparency and supplier management. Working collaboratively with representatives from law firms, LMS is looking to build and iterate its product set to improve the overall experience and flow of information. Products such as Secure Link, which is already used by 1000’s of authenticated laws firm users every week and already provides a secure place to communicate was seen as a good candidate for iteration, dominated the user discussion.

LMS also discussed the development of its platform based approach bringing all industry leading products, providers and stakeholder communication under one metaphorical roof. With one view of all data pertaining to the transaction, an open, through flow of information and a forum for communication between all involved parties, this will allow stakeholders to take care of everything in one place in a more efficient, secure and swift manner. Security remained key in discussion, with an extensive, authenticated reach being high on the priority list.

Further, LMS is keen to work with all stakeholders to ensure the solutions it brings to market are tackling the next set of problems for stakeholders before they develop. In a similar way to the advancements and developments it made regarding the feedback on Charge Registrations, and the building of a secure platform to drive efficiency for the entire end-to-end journey, LMS is committed to engaging with those in the sector to facilitate open, honest and productive discussions and solutions. It is open to any and all feedback as part of the roundtable events and the next session is planned for the summer.
