InfoTrack reveals updated Digital Conveyancing Summit agenda

InfoTrack reveal CQS, Compliance, and PI specialists added to Digital Conveyancing Summit agenda

InfoTrack has revealed the latest additions to the Digital Conveyancing Summit agenda, with a focus on compliance and risk management.

Opening the day with discussions around some of the most talked about topics in the industry, two sessions explore key issues firms are navigating with the adoption of new digital solutions.

The two sessions in the compliance section of the day will include:

  1. Technology, Risk Management, and Regulation: Compliance specialist Amy Bell of Teal Compliance, Stephen Ward, Director of Strategy and External Relations at the CLC, and Jenny Screech, PI specialist at Howden Insurance will explore what firms must be aware of with the adoption of new digital tools, how they can best reduce risk, and how to meet their compliance requirements.
  2. Ask Tracy: Q&A with a lead CQS assessor: Delegates will have their most pressing CQS-related questions answered by lead CQS assessor, Tracy Thompson, as she tackles the hottest topics related to firms’ CQS assessments.

The free event is being live streamed on Wednesday 28th September from The Law Society offices in Chancery Lane. 10 sessions throughout the day will cover the most hotly discussed topics in the digital conveyancing space, as panels of experts and industry specialists share insights into what firms need to know in 2022 and beyond.

Amy Bell, CEO, Teal Compliance, said:

“Compliance is something every firm is thinking about as they look to adopt more digital tools in their conveyancing process. I’m pleased to be joining the conversation to help firms navigate these new digital landscapes and discuss what everyone should be focused on when making the change.”

Tracy Thompson, Lead Assessor, Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) commented:

“Conveyancing is seen as a high-risk area of law, and therefore the compliance standards are equally as high. Digital tools and solutions designed to reduce risk provide firms with an opportunity to enhance their compliance processes, many of which now align with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). I’m looking forward to tackling some of the industry’s most-asked questions around CQS compliance to help firms ensure their processes are on track to support a successful CQS assessment.”
