HMLR Update for Conveyancers : Identity Verification

HM Land Registry (HMLR) have made updates in relation to the certificate to be given by a conveyancer where a person’s identity has been verified by way of an online video call (ID5).

HMLR have clarified that, where verification is made by way of a video call, the required screenshot must be in colour.
