A conveyancing prop-tech has officially launched after securing £500,000 in seed funding, supported by an Innovate UK grant.
ProConvey’s digital onboarding solution aims to “transform traditional conveyancing” reduce manual errors, and improve client satisfaction through its platform. It has been developed by ex-conveyancer Chris Scantlebury who began work on the project in January 2023.
Having experienced first hand the complexities and inefficiencies in the conveyancing process, Scantlebury set out to create an onboarding platform that combines ‘expertly designed user experience (UX) and user interface (UI)… (to ensure) clients are supported throughout their transaction with an accessible database of information pertinent to their case, alongside the capability to easily reach out for assistance at any point.’
ProConvey has secured the support of angel investors and venture capital firms including Ascension, with the funding to be used to further develop the proprietary platform, which, say ProConvey, incorporates AI automation tools expediting administrative tasks and enabling legal professionals to focus on the job at hand.
The platform has been in beta testing with various law firms. On the formal launch Scantlebury said
“Following a three-month beta, I am pleased to announce the official launch of ProConvey. We’ve set out to simplify the conveyancing process for all involved. The feedback from users has been very positive and their feedback has allowed us to significantly develop the platform. As well as aesthetic improvements we’ve streamlined the user journey and added structural support for branches and team management within each branch. Notable updates have also been made to mobile responsiveness and there’s now a comprehensive notification system for both conveyancers and clients. The result is a platform that is easier to use, more intuitive and more efficient,”
adding the platform will continue to be refined based on user feedback with further new features expected to be rolled out more broadly later this year.
