Dye & Durham nominated for PropTech innovation at the Property Awards

Dye & Durham (TSX: DND), the industry-leading provider of cloud-based, efficient workplace software for legal and business professionals, is a finalist in the 2023 Property Awards in the PropTech Innovator of the Year category.

The category recognises firms that are using cutting-edge technology to transform the way the property industry operates. Dye & Durham has been recognised by a panel of judges for its innovative service, BuildX, that supports new build conveyancing teams by reducing the average local authority search time from 25 days down to just a few minutes.

With turnaround times for a local authority search ranging from two to 70 days, depending on the area, Dye & Durham introduced the BuildX service into its ordering platform in 2022 to help tackle the challenge head-on. The result is a game-changing service for developers and conveyancers, with time spans reduced from days to minutes.

“We are delighted that the Property Awards’ judging panel have recognised the positive effect this service is having across the industry,” says Victoria Hurst, General Manager Property Sales, Dye & Durham UK.

“With almost 500 development sites nationally and more being added every week, BuildX offers a creative and robust solution to conveyancers and new build teams, enabling them to dramatically reduce the time taken between the homebuyers’ reservation and exchange of contracts. In many cases, we cut weeks off the process, meaning homes can be built for communities faster.”

Winners of the Property Awards will be announced on 13th June 2023 at a gala event at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
