The Conveyancing Foundation has announced to be this year’s official charity partner at the SLC Annual Conference 2024 (Society of Licensed Conveyancers). Scheduled for Wednesday, 6th November 2024, at Reach Events, Pride Park in Derby, this event is set to be an informative and interactive gathering for professionals in the conveyancing industry.

This year’s SLC Annual Conference 2024 hosted by Kate Faulkner OBE., will showcase an exceptional line-up of guest speakers addressing vital topics. These include:
- Digital signatures with insights from HM Land Registry and Nationwide
- Leasehold reform
- Material information
- The digitalisation of property data and standards
- Updates on the Building Safety Act 2022, the revised Law Society TA6, and ID verification
- Elizabeth Rimmer, Chief Executive of LawCare will address mental health awareness within the conveyancing industry
- Additional breakout sessions will be hosted for students and conveyancers throughout the event
The SLC Annual Conference 2024 (CPD event) is free for SLC members, with discounted rates for non-members until 8th September. Following last year’s success, an informal dinner, drink’s reception, and entertainment will also be hosted at Pride Park Stadium following the conference.
