Coadjute CEO hails new era of partnership for estate agents and conveyancers

Next week sees the first ever forum organised by ESTAS, well-known for its industry leading customer review platform and awards events.

In an industry first, the event – which is hosted in partnership with Coadjute, the blockchain network for the UK property market – will see estate agents and conveyancers gather under one roof to explore their relationships and see what practical steps can be taken to improve the homemoving process for all parties. The theme for the forum, which will be held in London on Tuesday 29th March, is: “Working Together Better”.

Dan Salmons, CEO of Coadjute, celebrates the event’s purpose of encouraging collaboration between agents and conveyancers. He said:

“We know the property industry is made up of highly experienced, talented individuals who want to work together to get the best possible outcomes for their clients. Estate agents and conveyancers are the two cornerstones of the market and coming together to challenge perceptions and build connections through trust to achieve a common goal is critical for sustained growth.

We are highly optimistic that the conversations at this event, underpinned by the true digitisation of the transaction process, will go a long way to achieving even greater levels of transparency and efficiency, to the benefit of all parties involved in buying and selling property.”

The forum, which will be attended by over 200 property professionals, will see a series of panel discussions made up of agents and conveyancers who all work on the “frontline” of the residential property sector. The event will be hosted by two of the best-known and respected figures in the industry Rob Hailstone, CEO of Bold Legal Group, and Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals.

Hailstone said:

“We want lively and open debate, but the pandemic has shown us that, during difficult times, many agents and conveyancers can work together constructively and harmoniously. It would be great to see those types of mutually beneficial relationships become even more widespread as we head off into 2022 and beyond.”

McKenzie commented:

“For as long as I’ve been in the industry, there have been estate agents and conveyancers that have enjoyed a fabulous working relationship. Each business, despite looking through a different end of the telescope, understands the roles and responsibilities of each other in the process. Their respective clients benefited from this synergy through excellent communication. Why are these relationships the minority despite the obvious benefits? Rob and I intend to find out why and how to collaborate to deliver a better service to the seller and/or buyer.”

The one-day event will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London next Tuesday 29th March. There are a few tickets left – to find out more information, go to: https://www.theestas.com/book-tickets
