Although it’s been nearly two weeks since National Conveyancing Week 2025, with the SDLT deadline on 31st March, there were more pressing issues at hand last week. With the deadline passed, the organisers of National Conveyancing Week have cheered on the conveyancing profession as the full weeks’ activities are now available to review on-demand, online.
Over 600 individuals joined the online discussions and presentations throughout the week and more than 300 firms requested National Conveyancing Week boxes to help them raise the profile of conveyancers and the role of the profession in the home moving process, throughout the week.
The full collection of presentations and TED-style talks are available to view online now.
The third iteration of the week saw more engagement than ever before as conveyancers up and down the country invested efforts into ensuring home movers, referrers, estate agents and the wider home moving sector understood to critical role the profession plays in helping people move home. This year National Conveyancing Week was delivered by The Conveyancing Foundation with Co-Chairs Jess Smith, Rob Hailstone, and David Opie saying
“As we reflect on NCW2025, we want to acknowledge the incredible dedication and resilience demonstrated by conveyancers, particularly in light of the significant challenges experienced over recent months. Conveyancing has faced intense scrutiny and pressure, yet this event has highlighted the inspiring camaraderie and strength of our community.
It was heartening to see so many firms up and down the country using the National Conveyancing Week platform to remind the wider property industry of the important role conveyancers play in the home moving process through active socials and wider marketing activity
National Conveyancing Week was established precisely to advocate for conveyancers, providing a vital platform to educate, assist, inspire, and inform. It’s through coming together that we truly recognise and celebrate the essential role you play in shaping the home-moving experience.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to our Charity Event Partner, The Law Society, and all our charity supporters whose backing made this event possible. Your support continues to help us champion the conveyancing community and drive positive change within our industry.”
Through a series of panel discussions and presentations practical tips on managing workloads and driving innovation, enhancing client relationships, looking after staff wellbeing and the much-anticipated TA6 discussion were all key talking points this year.
As in previous years the Collaboration Coffee Morning saw conveyancers open their doors to IFAs, estate agents and referrers to showcase their work with money raised for good causes; and this year in a National Conveyancing Week first, a Fun Fundraising Friday Quiz was held, hosted by the Bricks and Banter podcast and sponsored by Howden. Ginade Wilson from Aconveyancing finished as this year’s winner.
National Conveyancing Week wouldn’t happen without the support of the Charity Partners, and this year’s Event Partner The Law Society. The Conveyancing Foundation would like to pass on their thanks to life Landmark Information Group, TM Group, Miller Insurance, PEXA, The Society of Licensed Conveyancers, Groundsure, Cashroom, Post Partner, Paragon Brokers, Property Conveyancing Consultancy (PCC), Convey Law, Convey365, Bold Legal Group, Today’s Conveyancer, ESTAS and Movin’ Legal.

As most sensible professional conveyancers know by you, NCW is not about us. Look at a list of those sponsors, it is all about publicity for the persons organising it. Otherwise it would not have been organised near the end of the SDLT holiday. It is not like Xmas and fixed in the calendar, if it was really about what this article wrongly claims, it would have been in April. In fact 1st April would have been perfect!
