Conveyancers from the conveyancing firm, myhomemove, managed to conquer Ben Nevis, an ascent of 4,409ft, to raise money for the Peristera Children’s Home in Sri Lanka, a safe refuge for 41 abandoned children.
The 15 climbers, with a great team spirit, overcame adverse weather conditions at the summit and safely reached the top, raising over £1,000.00 for a worthy cause.
Rob Gurney, Director and Licensed Conveyancer, commented:
“It was a fantastic effort by everyone who took part — I’m really proud that all of us managed to make it there and back in one piece.
It was tough — and we encountered a bit of dodgy weather up there, but we all looked out for each other and made it down safely as a team”.
Peristera gets no support from the church or the government and relies on the support of people like the staff from myhomemove in order to keep running so well done team ‘myhomemove’ a worthy cause.
