Actionstep expands UK team and signals ‘deep connection’ to legal sector

Legal software provider Actionstep has expanded its UK team from five to 20 people, with new hires in senior leadership and engineering to support the company’s record growth.

Since the company with more than 50,000 global users launched in the UK, its practice management platform has been adopted by over 50 law firms including Dutton Gregory, Butcher & Barlow, Right Legal Group, and Levi Solicitors.

The new team includes Rebecca Lander as partnerships director for the UK, who brings 17 years of experience with law firms and legal technology; Shaun Denham, a solutions engineer with over 35 years of legal technology experience; and senior sales executive Tracey Longbottom.

Actionstep has strengthened its UK-based networks with partners specialising in legal workflows, IT support and digital transformation, as well as new strategic partners including Nexian Legal, Quiss Technology, Thirdfort, FuturByte, Expedite Law, and Progressive Legal Solutions.

The company has also launched a Midsize Law Firm Priorities Report in partnership with LPM, which it says will offer insight into the priorities, challenges and opportunities facing midsize law firms in the UK.
