Yorkshire firm Switalskis has developed its team further with a promotion and a new appointment as it grows its footprint across the county.
Hannah Midgley has been promoted to a new business role after joining Switalskis as an apprentice in 2021, and Wendy Welburn joins as a conveyancing assistant.
Wendy joins Switalskis with 32 years of legal experience, 12 of which has been spent in residential conveyancing. Her role involves supporting the team of solicitors throughout the transaction, dealing with the exchange and completion of matters.
Hannah has progressed from completing a level 3 business administrator apprenticeship to becoming a paralegal and now takes on the role of new business executive, responsible for engaging with clients to provide high levels of client care and drive the conversion of new enquiries into new business.
“Switalskis has enabled me to enjoy a fulfilling and progressive career so far. I know that I will always feel supported in my career path. I’m excited to see where this role will take me,”
says Hannah.
“I’m committed to providing the best possible experience for our clients and ensuring that every interaction is met with care and professionalism. I enjoy building relationships with people throughout their conveyancing journey and helping them achieve their goals.”
adds Wendy. Sarah Cookson, head of Switalskis’ residential conveyancing department, said
“Our strengthened team will ensure our service remains as impressive as ever. It’s been a privilege to see Hannah relish each step and move through the ranks. I’m confident that, with Hannah’s promotion and the experience and client-focussed approach Wendy brings, our team will go from strength to strength.”
