Women in Residential Property (WIRP) which aims to encourage collaboration between those involved in residential property transactions and improve networking opportunities for women has grown to over 300 members since lockdown began.

Women in Residential Property seeking a new Chairperson

Six years after founding WIRP, Emma Vigus will step down from her role as Chair on 1st September 2023.

Applications for Emma’s replacement are now open with the successful candidate taking up the position in September 2023 for a period of two years.

The deadline for applications is 10th August and further details can be found on the WIRP website – www.womeninresidentialproperty.co.uk.

Commenting on the opportunity, Emma said:

“WIRP is a well-established and highly thought of group with a strong reputation for facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing across the residential property industry.  With the support of Today’s Media who manage WIRP on day-to-day basis, the new Chair has a great opportunity to ensure that WIRP continues to evolve to meet the needs of our members and supporters.

I have enjoyed leading WIRP enormously, but it is time to focus on other areas of my life. I am really looking forward to watching WIRP grow and flourish under new leadership and, of course, to attending WIRP events as a guest!”
