HM Land Registry plays an essential role in every property purchase, yet many property lawyers have limited understanding of its requirements for registration applications. This often leads to requisitions and delays in completing registrations.
To assist lawyers, Stewart Title is working with IQ Legal Training to present a free webinar featuring guests from the HMLR Customer Training Team on Land Registry Restrictions.
The webinar will be held on Thursday 5th December at 11am and Ian Quayle of IQ Legal Training will be joined by members of the HMLR Customer Training Team and two expert Senior Land Registry Caseworkers.
During the webinar, Ian and his guests will look at the common types of restrictions encountered by residential conveyancers, how to handle problematic restrictions and why restrictions generate high number of requisitions.
There will be time set aside for questions to both Ian and the Land Registry team. This is a unique opportunity for property lawyers to engage with the Land Registry about the challenges they face and to get firsthand help on avoiding requisitions.
