VR Allows Home Buyers To Scope Out Development

A housebuilder in Scotland has embraced technology and is allowing home buyers the opportunity to utilise virtual reality (VR) to scope out the development’s neighbourhood.

The neighbourhood is going to be situated in the NorthBridge area of Glasgow and is part of the Keepmoat Homes development.

The builder said that:

“The VR tour will allow viewers to walk down the cherry blossom-lined street, discover the cycle paths, explore the green open spaces, months before moving into a home of their own.”

Beth McNeil, Regional Managing Director at Keepmoat Homes Scotland, said:

“We are delighted with the launch of NorthBridge, and really excited to be able to use this innovative technology for the first time in Keepmoat’s history on what is our flagship development.

“NorthBridge is truly unique, and we see it as a fantastic example of how working with key partners including Scottish government and Glasgow City Council can regenerate a whole area of Glasgow, and provide new homes and new opportunities which will really benefit the city.”

Can you see VR technology becoming more widely used in the sector?
