The Role
The Law Society of England and Wales has an exciting brand new role for a Legal Sector Product Development Manager.
In particular, the role focuses on coordinating the Society’s existing member offer for property solicitors and its strategic development. Currently the Society’s member offer for property solicitors includes premium services such as subscriptions, accreditations, conferences, training and publications aimed at facilitating the legal practice of property solicitors.
The member offer also includes core services such as the communication of legal practice guidance and information and the development of property law webinars and policy influencing and stakeholder engagements with government agencies.
Working alongside the existing teams, you will coordinate the member offer with strategic thinking and approach.
What we’re looking for
You will have experience in policy influencing and stakeholder management as well as in product development and growing or improving a business. A background in professional services or management consulting would be a plus.
Knowledge of the property industry stakeholders (agents, tech suppliers/integrators, conveyancers, property portals, lenders, property agencies such as HMLR, etc.) and the most pressing issues experienced by property solicitors and conveyancers, would be ideal.
We are looking for outstanding analytical skills in an excellent communicator who possesses a commercial mindset and the ability to spot and develop opportunities. You should be proactive and a completer who can realise opportunities to their full potential, working collaboratively with colleagues and members.
What’s in it for you
This is an excellent opportunity to work with contemporary thinkers in a progressive membership organisation. You will be joining a strong brand that is synonymous with excellence, legal expertise and trust. This is a friendly team committed to a culture of dignity, respect and belonging.
We believe in the benefits of a diverse workforce and strongly welcome applications from those currently under-represented in the organisation, including LGBT+ people, people with disabilities and people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
We offer a generous flexible benefits package, a friendly working environment and the opportunity to develop your career within a professional organisation.
