Tickets for the British Conveyancing Awards 2025, sponsored by Groundsure, are now available for the awards dinner hosted in London 13th March 2025. Now in it’s fifth year, the awards recognises and celebrates the work of conveyancing individuals, firms and the wider community at a glitzy ceremony in the heart of London at 8, Northumberland Avenue.
Organisers Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Conveyancer, have confirmed this year’s host will be television and radio personality Vernon Kay who follows in the footsteps of comedian Paul Sinha, who hosted the awards in March 2024. A staple of Saturday night entertainment, Kay currently hosts the Mid-Morning show on BBC Radio 2, and last year raised over £6,000,000 for Children In Need, by running an Ultra-Ultramarathon from Leicester to Bolton.
This year the awards welcomed a record number of entries from firms seeking one of the prestigious prizes. Following the closing of submissions in December, entries are now with the expert judging panel for independent review and scrutiny. The shortlist will be announced w/c 20th January and the winners confirmed live on the night in London. With a handful of new awards for 2025 the competition for top spot will be just as fervent as it ever has been.
2025 also sees the launch of a hugely important new category; “Conveyancing Excellence”. The award, which will replace the “Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion”, embodies everything that Today’s Conveyancer stands for as a news publication and everything The British Conveyancing Awards was introduced to recognise; independence, integrity and a recognition of the incredible diversity of the profession. A category into which all the conveyancing firm and individual categories will be entered, with the winner identified as being the cream of the crop.
Alongside the celebrations, The British Conveyancing Awards provides plenty of opportunities to mingle with guests throughout the evening encouraging all attendees to make the most of being around fellow professionals.
