Early Bird Tickets for The British Conveyancing Awards released

Early Bird Tickets for The British Conveyancing Awards released

Early bird tickets for The British Conveyancing Awards, sponsored by Dye & Durham, are now available. The awards will take place on 15th March 2022 as a hybrid event, with an in-person ceremony simultaneously live streamed via The British Conveyancing Awards website. The glitzy in-person ceremony will be a black tie event at the fabulous Church House in London.

This year sees a raft of new categories introduced as the focus switches away from the incredible response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a central theme of the inaugural awards in 2021, to the future of conveyancing in 2022 and beyond.

Two categories close to the heart of organiser David Opie of Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Conveyancer, are the Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion sponsored by Move Reports, and Conveyancing Firm of the Year – National, sponsored by Groundsure.

“These two awards epitomise what we’re trying to achieve with the new-look British Conveyancing Awards. As awards that will be nominated and voted for entirely by the industry the winners, and indeed those shortlisted, can rightly be proud to be recognised by their peers. We all know people and organisations who don’t always get the plaudits they deserve… now is the time to put them in the spotlight.”

Nominations are open until 11th February with the shortlists going to a public vote. The winners will be announced live at The British Conveyancing Awards on 15th March.

The Conveyancing Firm of the Year category encourages the industry to rank the top 3 conveyancers on the other side of the transaction, recognising those who go above and beyond to make a difference, take proactive steps to work with fellow conveyancers to smooth progress of transactions, and ensure all parties in the transaction remain up to speed.

“The last 2 years has fostered a camaraderie in the industry which has brought conveyancers closer in a spirit of togetherness. Let’s not let that slip. Let’s recognise all those who have positively contributed to the life and times of the conveyancing industry.”
