Three new Ambassadors and final chance to have your say – The Conveyancing Foundation

Conveyancing charity, The Conveyancing Foundation has announced three new ambassadors have pledged their support to the initiative. AConveyancing’s Natalie Moore and ESTAS founders Simon and Sarah Brown will play their role in ‘enhancing the lives of those in the property industry’, joining existing Ambassadors Rob and Lynne Hailstone of the Bold Legal Group, Elizabeth Rimmer of LawCare, and David Opie of Todays Conveyancer

The Foundation is also calling for final submissions to it annual Wellbeing at Work Survey 2024 which closes on the 31st March.

Natalie Moore this year raised money for Samuel’s Promise with her “It’s a Knockout” fundraising event. In June 2024 she is hosting a ‘Crystal Maze’ fundraising event benefiting Forward Trust, offering support to those affected by drug or alcohol issues, past offending, homelessness or unemployment. On her appointment she said;

I am absolutely thrilled to have been asked to join the Conveyancing Foundation as an Ambassadress.  We have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those in need and in our conveyancing community. I look forward to leveraging my passion for philanthropy to support the Foundation’s impactful initiatives.”

It is anticipated Simon and Sarah Brown will extend the Foundation’s reach into estate agency. On their appointment Simon Brown said;

“It’s an honour to be appointed as an Ambassador for the Conveyancing Foundation. Sarah and I are committed to using our ESTAS platform to drive positive change within the property and conveyancing industry. Together, we can create lasting impact.”

Sarah added:

“We are excited to partner with the Conveyancing Foundation and contribute to their vital work. By working together, we can amplify our efforts to support charitable causes and make a meaningful difference in the property community.”

The Conveyancing Foundation has been heavily involved in both The British Conveyancing Awards, hosted on Tuesday 12th March in London (raising £2400 for LawCare and the Mindstep Foundation – further donations can be made here) and National Conveyancing Week. During the week, the Foundation’s chair Lloyd Davies hosted a discussion entitled ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing in the property sector’ with the three shortlisted legal practices for the “Best Place to Work Award’ at the British Conveyancing Awards – Simply Conveyancing, Oliver & Co Solicitors and Ison Harrison Solicitors – discussing what makes their working environments so very special.

Foundation Chairman, Lloyd Davies commented:

“I am delighted to welcome Natalie Moore, Simon and Sarah Brown to the Ambassadorial team. Their passion for philanthropy and dedication to improving the conveyancing and property industry align perfectly with our mission and objectives.

“The success of National Conveyancing Week reflects the incredible spirit of collaboration within our community. My heartfelt thanks to David Opie and his team at Todays Conveyancer and the individuals who made donations at the British Conveyancing Awards for their wonderful generosity once again this year.  Together we can make a difference and support those that need our help such as these wonderful charities.  Thank you all.

“The prestigious British Conveyancing Awards were a fantastic success once again this year and we are so grateful to have been nominated as the supporting charity again this year.  I was delighted for Foundation Ambassador, Rob Hailstone, in winning the coveted ‘Industry Champion’ Award and for new Ambassadress Natalie Moore receiving the Highly Commended accolade. Both Rob and Natalie epitomise conveyancing professionalism and a commitment to our community and are shining examples of dedication and excellence in our industry.  Well done all on a fantastic week for the conveyancing industry!”

The Conveyancing Foundation also runs the Charity Lotto, helping conveyancers raise money for their chosen charities by adding £10 to their completion statement. Winners receive £500 in cash each month.
