The release of July’s Conveyancing FOCUS welcomed a surge of selfies as Searches UK asked you to embrace the ‘selfie’ and send them your snaps for the chance to win a £100 cash donation to a charity of your choice.
To celebrate the release of the third edition of Conveyancing FOCUS, Searches UK decided to reach out to its readers and asked you to share a photo of yourself with the magazine on social media with the hashtag #ConveyancingFocus.
The basis of the campaign was to see how many of you would indulge in a selfie in order to win a £100 donation to your preferred charity, and you didn’t disappoint!
Searches UK’s head office was inundated with photos being sent in from clients and prospective clients, all trying to bag the £100 charity prize, some of you even got your dogs involved!
The winner of the competition was Clare Osborne of PDT solicitors who chose to donate the £100 to the World Cetacean Alliance. The charity supports marine conservation and sea life in captivity, a cause that Clare is extremely passionate about.

“I volunteer for a CIO called WhaleFest that supports a charity called the World Cetacean Alliance who do a lot for the plight of whales and dolphins in captivity and marine conservation (something very close to my heart). World Cetacean Alliance are working in partnership with WhaleFest for the next year to raise awareness about ghost fishing gear and entanglement of marine animals.”
