Take me to Australia – Senior Paralegal wins trip of a lifetime

A Senior Paralegal at Bishopsgate Law has won a trip to Australia, courtesy of legal technology provider InfoTrack, with the winning ticket revealed in a live stream draw.

Lucy O’Brien’s winning ticket was draw first out of the hat on 14th February 2025 after over 350,000 entries had been submitted for the annual competition. Now in its 7th year “Take Me To Australia” will see Lucy and a travel companion enjoy an all expenses trip to Australia, including visits to Sydney, Uluru, and Port Douglas. Their itinerary includes climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, seeing Australia’s unique Red Centre, and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef.

Entries into the annual competition were automatically generated between November 2024 and January 2025 every time clients ordered services including Local Authority searches, eCOS client Onboarding, Indemnity Policies, Property Reports, AP1s populated from Deeds, and Digital Contract Packs shared through the InfoTrack platform.

Sam Jordan, COO at InfoTrack says,

“We love being able to reward our clients every year with this amazing holiday. This year we hit record entry numbers, showing our clients love the competition and using InfoTrack. A big thank you to all those who participated. We’re thrilled for Lucy and can’t wait to hear all about her trip to Australia.”

Lucy, who received the news on the school run, says she is ecstatic with her win.

“I was on the school run and my phone just kept ringing. I was getting notifications and messages, and I was thinking ‘OMG what has happened?’. Naturally, you assume something really bad, so I was frantically calling people back and I finally got through to two colleagues and they were screaming ‘you’ve won, you’ve won the trip to Australia!’. It felt like time stopped; I was in such shock. I was so overwhelmed but am absolutely chuffed to win such an experience!”
