Following a Law Society Council meeting this week, Vice President of the Law Society Mark Evans joins Rob Hailstone in a discussion on the progress of the TA6 consultation in the stand-out session of National Conveyancing 2025.
National Conveyancing Week returns this week for its third year, running from Monday 17th March through to Friday 21st March. With a host of online events to get involved in, alongside events like the Collaboration Coffee Morning, encouraging firms to invite referrers, estate agents and brokers in to the office to find out more about the conveyancing process, National Conveyancing Week 2025 promises to be bigger and better than before.
Firms are encouraged to play their part in the week by using the extensive digital resources available to promote their involvement in the week; whether on social media, on their website, in emails, and via local press.
Conceived to raise the profile of the work of conveyancers in the home moving transaction, the initiative has grown to welcome over 500 firms and organisations over the course of the week’s events. Hosted mainly online, firms can dip in and out of sessions planned throughout the week from thought-provoking panel discussions, hands-on technical training, and engaging TED-style Talks delivered by industry figures.
Law Society Vice President Mark Evans joins Bold Legal Group CEO Rob Hailstone for a discussion on TA6 on Thursday 20th March in one of the most-anticipated sessions of the week. Mental Health & Wellbeing, Balancing Profitability and Sanity, Training & Cultivating staff from within, and Trailblazing Women in Conveyancing are all topics covered throughout this year’s National Conveyancing Week.

As in previous years, the Collaboration Coffee Morning returns encouraging firms to open up the office doors and welcome in partners and referrers. Firms have run lunch and learn sessions, ALM masterclasses, referral sessions and networking opportunities as part of the Coffee Mornings; with any money raised through bake sales or charity activity going to good causes.

“Conceived to raise the profile of the work of conveyancers in the home moving transaction”
I very much doubt that, just take a look at the list of sponsors. Conceived by a businessman to make money for himself with no thought for conveyancers. Why else would it be taking place this year right near the end of an SDLT holiday when hard working conveyancers are far too busy to take part? Should have been delayed till the holiday was over, 1st April seems a suitable date.
