Mental Health Champion Training

Subsidised mental health and wellbeing training for law firms

Subsidised mental health and wellbeing training for law firms is being offered by The Conveyancing Foundation in collaboration with trainer Sharron Moffatt to support the one in six employees it is estimated experience a mental health issue in any given year.

The Foundation, which raises money for good causes across the conveyancing profession, is part funding places on two upcoming Mental Health Champion Courses, in September 2025 and November 2025.

Moffatt has 30 years’ experience in the wellbeing industry, working with organisations including the BBC, NHS, across the charity sector and Rightmove. With stress, anxiety, and burnout all too common in the conveyancing, and wider legal service profession, the courses are designed to  recognise the signs of common mental health issues and equip attendees with the skills to initiate supportive conversations and offer vital support when it matters most.

The courses are being hosted online through Today’s Media’s Today’s Legal Training platform, which provides CPD and continuing competence courses to practitioners.

The four-hour engaging and interactive course (split into two 2-hour sessions) goes beyond basic awareness and is suitable for those working within the property industry who would like to learn more about mental health & wellbeing and how to support their friends, colleagues or team members.
