STL Group achieves the Legal Eye Quality Standard

Following a rigorous assessment, STL Group has been awarded The Legal Eye Quality Standard.
Jaunita Gobby, Director of Legal Eye, said "Legal Eye is delighted to award STL with the Legal Eye Quality Standard.  The procedures and policies that STL has in place are of a very high standard and they have a proactive approach towards best practice, risk management and compliance.  We deal with a number of quality standards within Legal Eye and STL has all the policies and procedures in place which are relevant to their business, as required by these standards."
The Legal Eye Quality Standard assesses the level of risk and compliance systems and procedures in place for firms within the legal services market, other than solicitors.
To achieve the standard, STL was assessed by the Legal Eye team and had to demonstrate fully documented audit trails, internal and external staff training records on legal requirements as well as products and services offered, a full complement of policies and procedures setting out risks and systems.
Alan Thorogood, Chief Executive of STL, said: “We’re delighted to have achieved the Legal Eye Quality Standard which confirms we have the highest quality risk and compliance procedures in place.  This compliments our commitment to the Search Code and also our approval by Trading Standards under the ‘Buy with Confidence’ scheme, reassuring firms that they’re in safe, trusted and professional hands with STL.”
The Legal Eye Quality Standard was first launched in 2012 to recognise quality standards for firms within the legal services market (other than solicitors) by Director and Founder of Legal Eye Limited, Jaunita Gobby, and is the first assessment scheme to address those rules and regulations which are over and above the traditional quality standards, including The Bribery Act 2010 and The Equality Act 2010.
