A regional law firm say it has ‘set it’s sights on growth’ as plans have been unveiled for a sleek new Southampton office.
Steele Raymond, based in Bournemouth, intends to open a second office in Ocean Village, Southampton – in a newly refurbished building called Arcadia House.
Currently with a team of 110, Steele Raymond will take the top floor of the new office with the managing team expressing excitement as the company continues to grow.
Managing Partner, Jenny Rogerson, commented: “Southampton is an exciting opportunity for us, as we continue to grow and develop our client base across the south of England.
“Our teams of specialist lawyers, although based in Bournemouth, are often working with clients much further afield than Dorset and we recognise the opportunity that having a Southampton office represents, to support our clients and the wider business community.
“Many of our team already live in Hampshire and have spent decades building their contacts in the region so for us, it’s a natural step.”
Ranked a ‘top-tier’ firm by the independent guide to the legal profession, The Legal 500, Steele Raymond has been a leading commercial law firm in Bournemouth for over 40 years, with offices at Richmond Point and Granville Chambers, both on Richmond Hill in the heart of the town centre.
Over the last five years, the full-service firm has almost doubled in size, increasing the partnership to 25 and has developed niche, highly specialist teams within Residential Development, Property Litigation and Estate Planning and Tax, alongside expanding its already highly regarded corporate, commercial and private client teams.
The expansion into Southampton marks a milestone in the firm’s history and a demonstration of its ambitious future growth plans.
Jenny continued: “2025 is going to be an exciting year for the firm, with the opening of the Southampton office and continued growth of the team in Bournemouth. The sustained growth that we have experienced in recent years is testament to the hard work of our partners and employees supporting our clients.
“A significant number of our clients have been with us for many years and value the experience and expertise of Steele Raymond’s team as trusted advisors across all aspects of their business and personal lives. We’re immensely proud to have such long-standing relationships in the regional business community.”
Fit-out of the 1,256 sq. ft office space at Arcadia House is currently underway, with Steele Raymond expecting to move into the offices in March 2025.

March 2025?
No I am sorry but I must insist that this will have to be closer to three weeks.
One would like to think the SRA pay close attention to the nonsense emanating from one of their conveyancers on social media and take appropriate action in 2025.
