Sponsor Spotlight: Move Reports UK

The British Conveyancing Awards, sponsored by Dye & Durham, simply would not happen without the support of the industry.

Thank you to all those who have entered and sponsored the event which this year is hosted as a hybrid event; with an in-person ceremony at the stunning Church House in London, simultaneously live streamed via The British Conveyancing Awards website.

Our 2022 ceremony is a departure from the focus of the 2021 awards. To simply repeat the 2021 awards would miss the point of where the conveyancing industry is going. We are entering a different phase for conveyancers with a flatter market, increasing on and offline fraud risks, PII, the balance of flexible working and continued digitisation all presenting new and different challenges.

Our 2022 categories and supporters reflect this shift in emphasis and we’re delighted to introduce them through a series of Supporter in Focus pieces. Alongside Today’s Conveyancers Industry Champion sponsors Move Reports UK (www.movereportsuk.com) we look forward to recognising the very best our industry has to offer.

First of all, tell us who you are and what you do

Move Reports are the largest Independent property search company offering all our clients a different way of working by providing a “whole of market” choice for a report that meets their specific property sector needs.

What prompted you to support The British Conveyancing Awards this year?

Supporting the awards was an easy decision for Move Reports, with the heightened property market we have all had to tackle over the last 18 months we truly understand the daily pressures and wanted to acknowledge the efforts of Conveyancer, what better way to do this than to sponsor the “industry Champion” award.

Why did Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion stand out for you as one to throw your support behind?

Move Reports are involved in supporting property professionals right across the industry embracing the importance of independence and quality so to us it’s a perfect fit for supporting the prestigious Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion award.

How do you see the 2022 conveyancing market shaping up?

So far January has been really busy, after speaking to local agents we know that valuations for the month of January are also at a higher level than normal, if this is anything to go by then I think its definitely going to be another busy year.

What changes or improvements do you see need to be made in the conveyancing sector over the next 12-18 months?

Fully embracing digitisation.

What are you doing to lead or be part of that change?

We continue to develop and partner with our clients to create bespoke offerings and solutions.

Do you have any messages for the sector and the firms and individuals entering this year’s awards?

This is a tough one … each and every firm or individual entering The British Conveyancing Awards deserve to be recognised and you’re already doing an amazing job and we wish you the best of luck, I think this year’s shortlisting process is not going to be easy.

Thank you to Move Reports UK for their support at The British Conveyancing Awards 2022.
