Sponsor Spotlight: InfoTrack

The British Conveyancing Awards, sponsored by Dye & Durham, simply would not happen without the support of the industry.

Thank you to all those who have entered and sponsored the event which this year is hosted as a hybrid event; with an in-person ceremony at the stunning Church House in London, simultaneously live streamed via The British Conveyancing Awards website.

Our 2022 ceremony is a departure from the focus of the 2021 awards. To simply repeat the 2021 awards would miss the point of where the conveyancing industry is going. We are entering a different phase for conveyancers with a flatter market, increasing on and offline fraud risks, PII, the balance of flexible working and continued digitisation all presenting new and different challenges.

Our 2022 categories and supporters reflect this shift in emphasis, and we’re delighted to introduce them through a series of Supporter in Focus pieces. Alongside “One to Watch” Conveyancer of the Year sponsors, InfoTrack (www.infotrack.co.uk), we look forward to recognising the very best our industry has to offer.

First of all, tell us who you are and what you do

InfoTrack is pioneering the digitisation of legal processes. We provide a powerful suite of solutions across client onboarding, identity verification, e-signature, and conveyancing services. Our services help to assure compliance, enhance the client experience, and improve productivity within law firms. We take on the burden of paper-intensive, demanding administrative tasks within a single, award-winning platform. At InfoTrack, we empower firms to focus on delivering an exceptional client experience with every transaction.

What prompted you to support The British Conveyancing Awards this year?

The British Conveyancing Awards recognise the determination, dedication, and excellence within the conveyancing profession. Aligning with our vision for the future of the industry, the awards highlight achievements throughout the course of one of the busiest years the sector has experienced. We’re focused on keeping the industry moving, whether that’s through innovation, education, or working in consultation with our clients and other key industry suppliers, to ensure we deliver a truly exceptional client experience through our innovative technology.

Why did “One to Watch” Conveyancer of the Year stand out for you as one to throw your support behind?

InfoTrack is ambitious about innovations that are being championed, and how pioneers are going above and beyond to drive the industry forward. Through technology, a sound understanding of their craft, and hard work, commitment and dedication, these individuals are the real motivators of change, and their valuable contributions should be acknowledged and celebrated.

How do you see the 2022 conveyancing market shaping up?

2022 is set to be full of innovation, digital transformation, and ultimately a greater shift to embracing a wholly digital conveyancing process. The migration to digital AP1s will have a huge impact on how firms submit and manage their register applications, an initiative from HMLR that we warmly welcome. We also expect wider adoption of digital client onboarding and use of technologies that promote improved compliance and productivity gains.

What changes or improvements do you see need to be made in the conveyancing sector over the next 12-18 months?

The biggest benefit for firms will come from embracing technology solutions that are the right fit for their business and enable them to futureproof. Addressing consumer expectations to deliver exceptional client experiences will greatly benefit firms and help them grow. Adoption of automation in relation to essential but time-consuming tasks will free up conveyancers to build better relationships with their clients and increase their transaction volumes.

What are you doing to lead or be part of that change?

At InfoTrack, we’re always focused on innovating with the conveyancer at the heart of every solution we design. We work in consultation with our clients, as well as key strategic partners including HMLR, HMRC, and industry leaders. This allows us to offer best-in-class services to the profession, designed to streamline their processes, centralise information, and improve their productivity and compliance. We want to empower law firms to give their clients the best possible experience from instruction to completion.

Do you have any messages for the sector and the firms and individuals entering this year’s awards?

The last year was another challenging period for conveyancers, following the enormous strain with unprecedented transaction volumes. Now is the time to reflect and congratulate yourselves on all the incredible achievements and successes you’ve had, and we’d like to wish all of the firms and individuals who are entering the British Conveyancing Awards the very best of luck!

Thank you to InfoTrack for their support at The British Conveyancing Awards 2022.
