SLC appoints two new board members

The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) have announced the appointment of Joanna Ponsford and Lee Gaddes to the Society’s Board

Simon Law, SLC’s Chairperson said that they are delighted to welcome Joanna and Lee on to the Board as
new directors of the Society. He continued:

“The SLC Board carefully considered their exceptional qualifications and expertise, and the Board is sure their contribution will greatly benefit the society. As Board members, they will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction and success of the Society and Licensed Conveyancer profession.”

Joanna Ponsford, Licensed Conveyancer and Director of Busbys Solicitors echoed this and said that she is “delighted and
honoured” to have been elected to the Board of the Society. She added:

“…and am very much looking forward to working together with the other Board members to help shape the future direction and ensure the success of both the Society and the conveyancing profession generally, as well as guiding and supporting SLC Members and Students in their endeavours.”

Lee Gaddes Licensed Conveyancer and commercial property solicitor with Arch Law said:

“I am delighted to be elected to the Board of The Society of Licensed Conveyancers. I can’t wait to get started and engage with our members and stakeholders. I am looking forward to bringing my expertise in Commercial Property to an already diverse and experienced board.”
