The much-anticipated shortlist for The British Conveyancing Awards 2025, sponsored by Groundsure, will be published today at 12pm. Launched in 2021 to recognise the role of the profession in the months after the re-opening of the property market during COVID-19, the British Conveyancing Awards has welcomed nearly 900 submissions and recognised 75 winners over the last five years. Today marks the latest cohort of individuals, businesses and firms to be recognised for their incredible work helping millions move home every year.
Since it launched The British Conveyancing Awards has introduced an array of innovative categories reflecting the changing nature of legal services; including ‘Conveyancing Collaborators of the Year’ recognising the relationships between technology, estate agency and conveyancing; ‘Customer Service Champions’ recognising organisations who demonstrably go above and beyond for their clients with the evidence to show for it; and ‘Innovation in Service’ for technology and supplier excellence.
2025 also sees a hugely important new category launched which embodies everything Today’s Conveyancer stands for as a news publication and everything The British Conveyancing Awards was introduced to recognise; independence, integrity and a recognition of the incredible diversity of the profession. ‘Conveyancing Excellence’ will see the very best submission from across conveyancing firm and individual categories recognised as the cream of the crop.
“I am truly impressed by the high standards of innovation, professionalism, and dedication demonstrated across the conveyancing sector through the submissions”
said Malcolm Smith, CEO of Headline Sponsor Groundsure, and was part of the judging panel.
“it’s exciting to see how firms and suppliers are pushing the boundaries to improve the industry. The calibre of entries this year is a testament to the hard work and commitment that drives excellence in the legal and property sectors. I wish all entrants the best of luck — your contributions are shaping the future of conveyancing.”
The winners wills be announced on 13th March 2025 at the ceremony which is being hosted by TV and radio personality Vernon Kay at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London. Tickets for the event are £279 +VAT (with an additional £10 charitable donation) with tables also available. A £10 donation from every ticket will go to The Conveyancing Foundation, this year’s Charity Partner, which is shared amongst a range of causes including LawCare.
