Property data insight and technology provider, Search Acumen, has been chosen as a finalist for Property Week’s 2023 Property Awards in the Proptech Innovator of the Year category.
The category honours companies that are transforming the property industry through the application of technology in residential or commercial markets. A panel of expert judges has selected Search Acumen among the best-in-class examples of harnessing technology over the last 12 months to benefit clients and their customers.
More specifically, Search Acumen has been recognised for their Illustrative Map product, which launched in 2022. With nothing like this on the market, the digital mapping software revolutionised the process from a manual paper-led request that took up to nine weeks, down to seconds, through digital mapping technology. Illustrative Mapping allows lawyers and their clients to visualise their real estate portfolio, providing a clear representation of the purchase, as well as easily displaying any pending applications in a clear and digestible way. Additionally, legal practitioners have praised the tool as a helpful mechanism to present title and mapping issues to other colleagues, helping them work collaboratively more easily.
Search Acumen has been on a continuous push to digitalise the real estate market for the last decade. Since 2013, it has developed the first and only digital platform that gives lawyers on-demand access to over 500 layers of essential property data. The tools developed by Search Acumen enable faster, better workflows and decision-making that save valuable time and money for law firms, homebuyers and property investors.
