We listened to our under-appreciated audience and made the bold decision to recognise those of you who went above and beyond. Whilst competitive the overall sentiment was one of camaraderie. We’re all in this together.
Through The British Conveyancing Awards 2021 we recognised the herculean efforts by so many individuals, law firms and suppliers.
Categories never seen before in awards ceremonies were born including “Collaborator Champion” and “Mental Health & Wellbeing Conveyancing Firm of the Year.”

Nine months on we are entering a different phase for conveyancers.
Through Today’s Conveyancer we continue to keep our finger on the pulse. Our readers, writers and contributors tell a changing story as we look ahead to 2022.
After the feast of the last 18 months, a flatter market is anticipated in 2022 bringing with it new challenges. Maintaining higher (and justified) fees rather than competing on price means that law firms need to evidence their added value.
Fraud wreaks havoc, with many conveyancers facing a 20% increase in PII premiums this year.
The pandemic has impacted the way we want to work. There has been a significant shift in our own personal and professional priorities, reflected in the rise of the law firm consultancy model
And the drive toward digitisation and greater adoption of technology continues apace.
So, The British Conveyancing Awards 2022 will recognise the very best our industry has to offer as we enter this next phase. And we want to ensure that EVERYONE can get involved which is why we’re running it as a hybrid event; an in person ceremony at Church House, London, simultaneously live streamed via The British Conveyancing Awards website.
