JCP Solicitors has appointed a new residential property conveyancing specialist. Boosting the firm’s expertise at its Caerphilly office, Rachel McAdorey has joined JCP as an Associate Solicitor in conveyancing.
Having previously worked in Caerphilly for seven years, Ms McAdorey returns to her hometown after honing her skills at law firms in Blackwood and Aberdare. She has experience in all types of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases, part exchanges with new build properties, re-mortgages, equity release and shared ownership transfers of equity.
In addition to her significant residential conveyancing experience, Ms McAdorey has also dealt with aspects of commercial conveyancing, adverse possessions, title disputes, Lasting Power of Attorney, wills and probate, and some family matters.
Commenting on the appointment, Director and Head of JCP’s Residential Property team in South East Wales, Rebecca Goldsworthy, said: “We are pleased to welcome Rachel back to continue her successful legal career in Caerphilly, this time as part of JCP’s Residential Property team.

In April this year, a new “legal powerhouse” was created when JCP Solicitors merged with Glamorgan Law. The deal saw JCP Solicitors extend its geographical reach throughout South East Wales, as it gained access to Glamorgan Law’s existing offices in Caerphilly, Cardiff, Cowbridge and Pontypridd. The merger between JCP and Glamorgan Law resulted in a firm with a turnover of over £10 million, as well as creating the largest law firm with offices solely in Wales.
JCP also recently announced that it had secured planning permission to extend its Swansea headquarters in a move which will create more than 50 jobs.
