PEXA: September update

Come and say hello!

We’re thrilled to be premier sponsors of the Leeds Digital Festival this year. The festival is a celebration of digital culture, showcasing the digital enterprise, innovation and open collaboration that is happening in the city from all who make Leeds and the North such a vibrant hub for digital innovation. Find out more about the event here and join us between 18 – 29 September for a celebration of all things tech and digital.

In addition, we’re delighted to return to the Law Society’s National Property Law Conference in London on 10 October as sponsors. Matt Ellis, our Chief Risk Officer and UK People Experience Lead, will be speaking on retention of staff within residential property and sharing some tips for supporting the wellbeing of employees. Our team will also be exhibiting and are looking forward to meeting attendees.

Supporting the industry

We’ve joined forces with the Conveyancing Foundation as their latest Official Charity Partner. We’re thrilled to be joining others in the industry in leading the way in setting wellbeing standards and best practices. We’ve also become a partner of the Foundation’s new Charity Grant Scheme. The scheme invites individuals and organisations in the conveyancing sector to apply for charity funding to supplement a worthy initiative they are supporting. Read more about the excellent work being done here.

Continuing our focus on wellbeing

Keeping with the theme of wellbeing, our Wellbeing Manager, Lucy Churkovich, recently penned an article for Legal News Wales on how wellbeing is a non-negotiable for PEXA. Lucy shares some ideas to help organisations support wellbeing that don’t necessarily require budget. Take a look at Lucy’s article here.

This article was submitted to be published by PEXA as part of their advertising agreement with Today’s Conveyancer. The views expressed in this article are those of the submitter and not those of Today’s Conveyancer.
