PEPA invites conveyancers to online conference

The Property Energy Professionals Association (PEPA), whose members are the Government-appointed Accreditation Schemes for Energy Assessors, is inviting conveyancing lawyers to its annual online conference on 1st May.

The conference will have a strong focus on Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) reform, as well as the changing landscape in respect of Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) on both domestic and non-domestic properties. Speakers include representatives from MHCLG, DESNZ, the Scottish Government, The National Retrofit Hub and the National Residential Landlords Association.

Chair of PEPA Andrew Parkin commented:

“2025 will see significant changes to EPC and MEES regulations, many of which will have an impact on property purchasers and sellers, and the lawyers who are acting for them. With senior Government officials from both MHCLG and DESNZ presenting, the Conference offers a unique opportunity to hear about the changes first hand, and to ask questions of the speakers.”
