Pali is pleased to announce their latest revolutionary feature is now live on their online ordering platform.
Clients of Pali who currently order online are able to utilise this innovative facility, completely free of charge. The new Mapping Tool Facility allows users to view historical search orders on a map before placing a new order. Once logged in to the Pali site users have the opportunity to search their company’s database of search orders by entering a postcode. Once the Postcode has been entered, a map of the area displaying pins is shown. If you click on a pin, a pop up appears listing the searches that were previously ordered and even allows you to bring up the original search reports. We are not suggesting that this information can be used as an alternative to ordering fresh searches, however we believe the user will find it useful to be able to view information on the searches previously carried out on a neighbouring address. When carrying out market research with conveyancing solicitors on this idea, the feedback we received was that this may help solicitors decide what searches they wish to order especially with searches such as coal mining and environmental reports.
Long standing clients of Pali will particularly benefit from this facility as they have built up an extensive database of search results over the years. Users will only be able to view previous searches their company has purchased and strict security measures have been implemented.
Technical Director, Nick Small Jnr from Pali Head Office said “For some time now we have been trying to think of ways in which we can utilise the huge database of our client’s searches that has built up over the years. We archive all our client’s searches and store them free of charge, forever. A lot of our solicitors have been using our services since 1999 so as you can imagine, we have a lot of searches stored. We thought people may like the idea of being able to view previous orders before purchasing new searches on a nearby address and as it turns out, we were right. The Mapping Tool Facility has only been live for a short amount of time but the feedback we have received from clients has been exceptional. We have even been contacted by new solicitors wanting an account, purely because of this facility.”
