The Open Property Data Association (OPDA) has welcomed two new members – Hiizzy and Instamo – in a bid to further its mission to transform the home buying and selling process.
Instamo provides a secure autofill solution for submitting mortgage applications with the aim of making them more accurate, more secure, and more rapid for brokers and lenders.
Hiizzy delivers what it says is a transparent, technology enabled property listing journey to give sellers greater choice, control and visibility over their move. By making more information available and verifiable earlier, Hiizzy aims to improve the quality of property listings, reduce duplication and help buyers, sellers and property professionals progress transactions with greater speed and certainty.
Welcoming the new members, Maria Harris, chair of OPDA, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Hiizzy and Instamo to OPDA at such an important time for the industry.
“As the government’s home buying and selling reforms gather pace, the need for collaboration around data standards, interoperability and trusted information sharing has never been greater.
“The strength of the OPDA lies in bringing together innovators from across the property and mortgage sectors to create the foundations for a truly digital property market, and we look forward to working closely with both organisations.”
Freddie Savundra, founder of Instamo, said: “At Instamo, we believe the future of property transactions lies in trusted, connected and instantly accessible information. Too much time is currently lost through duplication, manual processes and disconnected systems.
“Joining OPDA gives us the opportunity to work alongside forward-thinking organisations that share our vision for a more efficient, data-driven property market.”
Lewis Buckley, CEO and founding partner of Hiizzy, said: “Hiizzy began with the belief that sellers deserve a more transparent, flexible way to bring their property to market.
“We now believe the real opportunity is bigger than better listings; it’s building trusted, transaction-ready property data that can be reused securely throughout the whole process.”
